When it was time to make this recording I had gone through some tremendous testing in my life. There had been loss of a grandson, my parents, and other close family members in addition to personal heartaches to a number of my family members. I think I had begun to learn “at a new level” the power of the word of God and prayer in my life, as well as the importance of trusting the Lord, no matter what comes. I chose the songs for this recording to reflect something of my walk at that time in hopes that it would also be an encouragement to others on their journey.
